A highly regarded global investment banking advisory firm is seeking an experienced and driven Vice President to join its Business Services team in London. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, deep sector expertise, and strong track record in advising private equity firms, entrepreneurs, and corporates on mid-market M&A and capital markets transactions.
The Business Services team advises clients across a wide range of subsectors including professional services, human capital, facilities management, BPO, and tech-enabled services. As a Vice President, you will take a leadership role in transaction execution, client relationship management, and team development. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients, taking ownership of key workstreams and helping drive deals to successful completion.
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions, including process management, due diligence, and negotiations.
- Build and review complex financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, trading comps).
- Prepare and present client materials including pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations.
- Conduct market and industry research to support strategic insights and transaction positioning.
- Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
- Support origination efforts through idea generation, pitch development, and relationship management.
6-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong preference for experience in the Business Services sector. Proven track record of executing M&A transactions from start to finish. Exceptional technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring. Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
