We are hiring on behalf of our client, a fast-growing, innovative business transforming outdoor spaces across the UK. Our client, a leading provider of outdoor flooring and substructure solutions, is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically-minded sales professional who enjoys winning work through relationship building, expert consultation, and fast-paced project engagement.
You will play a pivotal role in driving sales by converting contractor engagement into project wins from initial enquiry to final order. This position is all about turning enquiries into orders. You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and installers, acting as a trusted advisor and technical specialist to help bring projects to life.
Key Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Engineer:- Build and strengthen relationships with contractors and subcontractors
- Maintain and develop key accounts through consistent engagement
- Support live projects with fast, accurate estimates and value engineering (VE) proposals
- Provide technical guidance and advice throughout the sales process
- Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally and knowledgeably
- Drive awarded-stage projects through to order placement
- Collaborate with the wider sales team and contribute to team performance
