As a Supervisor in the Restaurant & Bar department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests while maintaining the seamless operation and financial success of the restaurant, bar, and in-room dining services.
Operational Management:
- Assist in the comprehensive management of restaurant and in-room dining services.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings and team briefings, offering support and guidance to team members when needed to achieve collective objectives.
Managing Restaurant IRD:
- Interact with hotel guests and VIPs, providing VIP reports to the Executive Management Team.
Financial Performance Management:
- Analyse financial data to support decision-making and forecast potential revenues and costs.
- Exercise cost control measures while maintaining service standards.
Health and Safety Management:
- Act in accordance with fire safety instructions and promote a safe working environment.
- Attend and stay updated on mandatory training and legislative changes.
Coach, train, and nurture both management and hourly employees to elevate team performance, morale, productivity, and enthusiasm. You should have excellent knowledge of wines and champagne, strong upselling skills, and customer service know-how. Strong leadership skills are essential to motivate the team and maintain a high level of service. Flexibility to work late hours is required, as the bar typically closes around 1 or 2 AM.
