Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a high growth business in the Staffordshire area. Our client is recruiting for a Business and Finance Systems Analyst to join their team. This position will optimise the 4 different systems they use as a business, looking at ways they can 'speak to each other' and develop efficiency drivers that will improve operational performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Create a process map for all different key MI systems - CRM, Operations Management system, Finance and Purchasing system, and Project Management system
- Work with Management team to identify business needs and recommend solutions
- Identify process weaknesses and devise data driven solutions to improve
- Improve efficiency of output of Key Business reports
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions
- Work independently and as a team with Finance Reporting Analyst and IT team to improve reporting outputs
- Covering for Finance Reporting Analyst during holidays and absence
Weβre looking for a candidate who has:
- Experience in process mapping, project support and process improvement
- Programming skillset (Python or SQL, MACRO language (Visual Basics), Advanced Excel and Access systems skills, covering macros)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ideally some exposure to, or understanding of, accounting, to understand relevant inputs/outputs desired
