MuleSoft Solutions Engineer

MuleSoft is seeking a motivated Solutions Engineer to join our collaborative Pre-Sales team. As a Solution Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, demonstrating how MuleSoft’s Integration & Hyper-automation Platform can modernize IT and foster innovation. You will work closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to qualify opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making, and funding. Building strong relationships with clients’ IT staff and C-Level executives, you will leverage your technical expertise to align their needs with business outcomes.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Pre-Sales enterprise software experience with the ability to build trust and influence decision makers
  • Hands-on experience with middleware, integration architecture, web services, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, etc.
  • Development experience with API design and coding
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as iPaaS, SaaS, and cloud infrastructure is preferred
  • Proven ability to build and deliver Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and respond to RFIs/RFPs independently
  • Ability to lead architectural discussions and workshops
  • Passion for technology and translating it into business impact
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours across the EMEA region

What you’ll achieve:

  • 3 months: Become MuleSoft Developer certified, complete SE training, shadow customer calls, and engage with sales leaders
  • 12 months: Close deals, own technical end-to-end sales, get certified in all product and sales trainings, deliver tailored presentations, develop PoCs, and support marketing activities
