An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused leader to join our AWS Services team. This role is pivotal in driving AWS Professional Services and Managed Services sales across key routes to market, including vendors, our partner base, and their end-customers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping business growth, forging strategic relationships, and harnessing cloud technologies to transform organisations.
What your role as an AWS Services Business Development Manager will involve:
- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify market opportunities and expand customer engagement.
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the AWS business expert, fostering relationships with key AWS teams, partners, and end-customers.
- Account Growth: Drive market expansion, proactively seeking new business opportunities while maintaining strong retention strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with regional pre-sales, technical teams, and Cloud leadership to align sales efforts.
- Expert Knowledge: Position key AWS programs such as OLA, MAP, and WAFR to customers while maintaining in-depth knowledge of cloud solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to support the development of AWS services propositions, solutions, and GTM strategies.
- Voice of the Customer: Gather and report customer insights to influence future sales strategies and service offerings.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately report key management account information.

- Experience in a Professional and Managed Services sales-type role.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of exceeding revenue targets and acquiring new business relationships.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud computing services and their business transformation capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both local language and English.
- Strong ability to network with industry peers and customers, fostering long-term relationships.
- Experience with AWS certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Associate Certification is desirable.
- Willingness to travel as needed for business engagements.
