We are seeking a skilled and reliable Freelance AV Technician based in or around Manchester to support a range of hybrid and on-site live events. This role is ideal for a technically proficient individual with hands-on experience in delivering seamless audio-visual experiences for corporate meetings, conferences, webinars, and live productions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment including sound systems, projectors, lighting, cameras, and streaming hardware/software.
- Deliver professional technical support for hybrid events, ensuring smooth integration between in-room and virtual participants.
- Coordinate with event producers, venue staff, and clients to meet technical requirements.
- Manage live video feeds, presentations, audio mixing, and switching for in-person and streamed elements.
- Execute pre-event checks and provide technical rehearsals where necessary.
- Dismantle and safely store or transport AV equipment post-event.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in AV support for live and hybrid events, ideally in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Zoom, MS Teams, vMix, OBS, or similar live-streaming tools.
