An opportunity has arisen for a Toolmaker to join a multi-talented team of CAD Designers and Toolmakers within a business that specialises in new injection mould tool manufacture, tooling repairs and modifications.
As a Toolmaker, your duties will include:
- The manufacture, service, repair and modification of injection mould tools of up to 2.0 tons in weight
- Methodical dismantling of injection mould tools
- Assessing customer tools and components, investigating the best course of action for repairing or modifying
We are keen to hear from any applicants with:
- A mechanical engineering qualification, toolmaker apprenticeship or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of working on injection mould tools
- Competence in the use of manual and standard toolroom equipment (lathes, mills, surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, manual spark eroder)
- An ability to read and understand drawings and models in both 2D and 3D
On offer for the successful Toolmaker:
- A salary of circa £42K – negotiable, depending on experience
- 08:00-17:00 Mon to Thursday and 08:00-14:30 Fridays

Based in Oxfordshire, this role is commutable from Banbury, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bicester, Northampton and all surrounding areas.
