This is a Swift Temps vacancy who are operating as an employment agency. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ductwork Cad/Project Engineer to join our client. Based in Digbeth Birmingham they are leading design, manufacturer & installer of commercial kitchen ductwork and equipment. The successful candidate is to have previous experience as a project engineer in the ductwork industry. The company is a well-established player within their industry with over 40 years’ experience and have grown into a leading company with a strong staff compliment. The culture is centred around creating an environment of continuous improvement, ensuring they remain at the forefront of their industry and most importantly, ensuring that their staff excel. This is a great opportunity to work with a long-standing company that offers great exposure and career growth. ABOUT THE ROLE Attend site meetings with client to assess design criteria. General site surveys to establish design. Full site surveys to establish manufacture requirements Produce fully detailed Cad design drawings. Be fully conversant with Microsoft office IE word, excel, etc Assist in the definition of the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Manage changes to the project scope/project schedule. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Report and escalate to management as needed. ABOUT THE CANDIDATE Proven working experience (5 years) Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills POINTS OF APPEAL Working at an established company with a family culture, where employees are valued.
