Location: Essex

Salary: Β£19-Β£20 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (Paid 1-hour lunch break)

My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Day Electrician to join our dynamic team at our site in Essex. If you’re passionate about electrical systems, problem-solving, and making a real impact in an industrial environment, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Electrical Installations & Maintenance: Support site operations with electrical installations and ensure the smooth running of electrical supplies.
  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, including LV circuits, 3-phase motors, and industrial control systems.
  • Equipment Management: Read and interpret electrical drawings to maintain and troubleshoot systems effectively.

Bonus Opportunities: Knowledge of building MCC panels is a plus!

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electro Technical Services or a BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  • City & Guilds Electrical qualifications (Optional but advantageous).
  • At least 1 year of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial setting.
  • Solid understanding of PLCs, 3-phase motors, and fault-finding techniques.
  • Familiarity with electrical drawings and testing equipment.
