We are seeking two dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants / Nursery Practitioners to join our team at our award-winning Epsom nursery. Ideally, candidates will hold a level 2 or 3 childcare / early years qualification; however, full training and support can be provided. We also have a fully funded training scheme in place for people who are looking to obtain their early years levels or complete further qualifications.
As a Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in early childhood education and a passion for working with children.
Duties Of The Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner Include:
- Create a stimulating and engaging environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe and assess children's development and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other nursery practitioners to create a cohesive team environment
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified to Level 2, 3 or equivalent in childcare / early years (desirable)
- Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable)
