A newly created opportunity working for a multidisciplined growing UK engineering services business who work with a diverse range of customers across food & drink, utilities, nuclear, aerospace & defence and many other areas of manufacturing and infrastructure. This Environment, Health & Safety Manager vacancy will be focused on integrating newly acquired businesses into the group.
The Environment, Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Aligning Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards and policies across merged entities, ensuring compliance and minimising operational risks.
- Performing SHEQ due diligence assessments to identify gaps or risks in compliance, safety, and environmental performance.
- Creating and implementing SHEQ integration plans, including training programs, audits, and process harmonisation.
- Establishing KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor SHEQ performance and integration progress.
The Environment, Health & Safety Manager will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent desirable.
- Strong understanding of SHEQ regulatory frameworks and industry standards; experience in M&A integration or change management is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for site visits and assessments.
