Reporting directly to the Residential Manager at Holy Spirit Croydon, you will be delivering pastoral care services for our residents and clients, ensuring they have choice in maintaining their cultural and spiritual wellbeing.
About the Role:- Providing personal spiritual support and Pastoral care services to residents and clients in line with their preferences and Catholic Healthcare’s Mission
- Supporting mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
- Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care
- Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members
- Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
