We are looking for a dynamic individual with passion and energy to support the development of the Creative Industries in Cambridge and the region. The Creative Partnerships Officer is a key, external-facing role within Cultural Services, building relationships and partnerships that enable creative professional development and cultural provision in Cambridge informed by data and best practice and in alignment with the City Council key strategies and objectives.
The purpose of this post is to carry out the key dividends in the Cultural Strategy 2024-2029. This includes:
- Developing responses to improve access and opportunity to the arts within the city with a focus on sector under-representation and youth engagement.
- Supporting in fundraising through grants and identifying potential sources of new funding and income generation.
- Providing support and provision to the sector in delivering activities.
- Developing local, regional, and national partnerships.
- Overseeing a professional development strand of regular training, workshops, activations, mixers, training, and cultivation events informed by the needs of the local community.
This will be a good opportunity for an individual who can be a strong advocate for high quality creative and cultural provision in Cambridge. Enhanced DBS check required for this post.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week. Working Pattern - Typically 9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri, with evening and weekend work required.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £36,124 - £40,476 per annum, (City Pay Band 5)
Location: This is flexible - working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices (on Mondays at Parson's Court) or working from home. You will be able to balance your location accordingly.
