A proactive and analytical IT Support professional with experience and knowledge of both hardware and software set up, troubleshooting, and implementation.

The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and peripherals. Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents, and fulfilling service requests related to end-user computing devices, audio-visual equipment, and applications.
  • Providing local and remote end-user support for company IT hardware and software, focusing on the UK employee base but covering for other operations as required.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, applications, and user accounts.
  • Responding to incidents and fulfilling service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operation, maintenance, and monitoring of IT infrastructure and systems, including networks, hardware, software, and audio-visual equipment in meeting rooms, to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Onboarding/off-boarding of employees ensuring best in class onboarding experience for new starters, whilst maintaining IT asset and system account governance.
  • Ensuring the availability, security, and reliability of IT systems, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or vulnerabilities.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for end-user support processes and procedures.
  • Creating documentation for and training company employees on the use of company resources and security policies.
  • Procurement and administration of company hardware and software licenses, including best practice commercial approach alongside the Finance team.
  • Driving project tasks to successful completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.

About you: You will proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance our efficiencies. You will have experience in a previous IT Support role, with exposure to MacOS and Google Suite. You will promote a culture of approachability, empathy, and customer service in your daily interactions with our end-users - primarily in Brighton. You will be an excellent communicator with a real passion for collaboration and teamwork. You are comfortable being patient and empathetic, and will empower end-users through your approach to IT support.
