We believe in empowering our team members with resources to thrive and make a meaningful impact. Role We seek a dynamic and driven CFO & Fundraiser to join us in a part-time, remote role. This key position involves leading our fundraising efforts, engaging with investors, and securing financial support to advance our mission. The Director of Fundraising & Investor Relations will identify, approach, and nurture relationships with venture capital firms, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other stakeholders interested in robotics and sustainable waste management. As a leadership team member, you will shape our financial strategy and ensure we have the necessary capital to grow. This is an equity-based position until fundraising succeeds, ideal for someone invested in our company\’s success. Responsibilities Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan targeting pre-seed and seed-stage investors in the UK and US, specializing in robotics and waste management. Cultivate relationships with venture capitalists, private equity firms, angel investors, and corporate partners to secure funding. Lead investor relations, including portfolio reviews, board meetings, and updates to ensure ongoing support. Represent TeknTrash Robotics at pitches, investor meetings, industry conferences, and networking events. Engage with accelerators, incubators, and industry experts to enhance credibility and fundraising efforts. Create compelling investment materials such as pitch decks, financial models, and business plans to communicate our vision effectively. Provide insights and recommendations on financial planning and fundraising strategies based on market trends and investor feedback. Qualifications Passion for robotics, sustainability, and innovative waste management solutions. Proven success in raising funds from venture capitalists, family offices, and equity investors, with an established network. Strong background in corporate finance, financial modeling, and fundraising strategy. Exceptional communication skills to craft and deliver persuasive pitches and proposals. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Motivated, adaptable, and resilient in securing investment opportunities. Experience in fundraising for tech startups, especially in robotics or sustainability, is a plus. Strong work ethic: TeknTrash is committed to doing good. Additional Information This is an equity-based position until successful fundraising, requiring financial flexibility. Equity will be granted based on investment secured. This is a remote role, offering flexibility and collaboration with the team and investors.
