Harrogate Music Centre is looking for an inspiring and passionate strings tutor to teach on Saturday mornings (from 9am to 12:30pm). We are seeking engaging violin, viola, cello, and double bass tutors to join our strings department. The post would be a mixture of teaching individual lessons and small groups, as well as conducting some of our ensembles.

We are a thriving music centre, with a longstanding tradition of producing excellent ensembles, for all ages and levels of ability. For the past 3 years we have started teaching instrumental lessons and this is now a thriving aspect of our work. The candidates should be excellent instrument teachers across the whole instrumental family and be able to flexibly adapt to the teaching circumstances required by the centre.

The music centre meets for 30 Saturdays per year (10 each term) and performs a range of concerts across the whole year, from Christmas, Easter and Summer showcases. Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
