On behalf of our UK based client, we are currently recruiting for a Technical Records Manager - Engines, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company specialising in aircraft engine asset management.

Location: UK Southeast, Full WFH will be considered UK wide.

Additional Info: Mon-Fri 37.5 per week working. This is a UK based opportunity, to be successful in your application you must already have the rights to live and work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.

Scope of Role

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the Engine Records Manager will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all technical records related to customer and internal portfolios of Engines, APUs, and Thrust Reversers. The role will also involve supporting records reviews for lease returns, pre-purchase inspections, and shop visit documentation.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Review compliance of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins to ensure the correct status is reflected in the provided record files.
  • Review technical records packages for pre-purchase of assets including Airframe, Landing Gear, Engines and APUs.
  • Review technical records for Lease Redeliveries and compile open items lists, working with all parties to close out any discrepancies.
  • Identify and resolve record deficiencies and liaise with customers to close out any outstanding open items.
  • Work to seek further business and new customers for the company.
  • Other duties that may be assigned to meet business needs.

Relevant knowledge and experience

Knowledge and experience with aviation technical records discipline within an engine leasing, airline, MRO or Consultancy organisation. A strong understanding of Back to Birth LLP trace regulatory requirements and the ability to perform Back to Birth trace reviews on LLPs, Engines, APUs and Landing Gear. Knowledge and understanding of the Engine leasing requirements and Lease Agreement conditions.
