In the day to day of the role you will be taking charge of global logistics by managing imports and exports, coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance, and resolving shipping challenges efficiently. Due to the location, you must be a driver. Associated benefits as the Shipping Coordinator: • Competitive Salary of 34k pa • Monday to Thursday, 9:00am 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break) and 9-4.30 on a Friday with a half an hour lunch break. • Hybrid working arrangement of 2-3 days in the office (after training) • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays- With an option to buy up to extra 5 days annually • Standard company enrolment into the pension scheme after 3 months service. • Discretionary bonus – up to10% of basic salary. • Life insurance after 1 years’ service As the Shipping Coordinator you will: • Manage import and export logistics, including scheduling and compliance. • Prepare and handle shipping documents • Maintain accurate shipping records and tracking systems • Coordinate with freight forwarders for transport and on-time delivery • Issue pre-delivery alerts and initiate warehouse processes • Resolve shipping issues promptly What we’re looking for: We’re seeking a collaborative team player with solid experience managing imports and exports, from order entry to clearance and delivery. Ideally, you’ll have a background in international trading rather than freight forwarding or customs brokerage.
