Our client are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate learner focused Adult Care Tutor to deliver high quality, supportive and engaging qualifications to candidates enrolled onto their programmes in Midlands and surrounding areas. You will be delivering Adult Care qualification up to level 3 or 5.
Main Responsibilities
- Taking full responsibility for a caseload of 30 - 40 learners
- Engage and support learners in a face-to-face setting with some blended delivery and workplace observation to achieve qualifications in a timely manner
- Manage a caseload of learners effectively meeting OFSTED and Awarding Bodies requirements in teaching, learning and assessment for learners
- Managing caseloads to ensure that KPIs are met
- Undertake induction, initial assessment, diagnostic, ILP, skills scan and reviews with learners ensuring feedback provided and acted up appropriately
- Develop scheme of work, lesson plans and course resources for the delivery of the qualifications.
- Maintaining regular contact with employers throughout the full learning journey
- Delivering and managing learning of the qualifications using an e-portfolio system
- Embedding functional skills in the delivery of the qualification and providing the relevant support and guidance to meet the required standards of the qualification
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with employers, Job Centre Plus and other relevant agencies
- Support a caseload of learners through providing effective advice and guidance and training to progress into sustainable employment, work placement, apprenticeship or further education
- Accurately and securely recording learner progress, setting of targets and agreeing areas of improvement
- Ensure that learners achieve their qualification within the agreed timescales
- Embedding British values, prevent, safeguarding, equality and diversity throughout the teaching.
