We are looking for a diligent and detail-focused Procurement & Supply Coordinator to manage the end-to-end purchasing and inbound supply process across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role is integral to our manufacturing and new product development process, helping ensure we maintain supply chain efficiency, vendor accountability and margin control. You’ll be responsible for placing and managing purchase orders, coordinating inbound shipments, and supporting vendor relationships from quote to sample approval. You’ll work closely with our operations, production, product development and commercial teams — and be key to ensuring the right product gets to the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using Microsoft Business Central.
  • Ensure the company are continually leveraging the latest planning (MRP / MPS) capabilities and functionalities of existing Microsoft Business Central ERP platform, whilst continuing to learn and adopt industry best practices as technological capability increases.
  • Track and coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers and freight partners.
  • Liaise with NPD team to gather supplier quotes, request samples, and assess production feasibility.
  • Assist in vendor selection and onboarding process for new products and packaging formats.
  • Monitor and manage supplier lead times, order confirmations and delivery performance.
  • Maintain accurate product, vendor and pricing data in the system.
  • Working closely with the NPD team create new part numbers and bills of materials with Microsoft Business Central to ensure timely ordering of new and replenishment items and to ensure production costs are accurate and always up to date.
  • Work with finance and warehouse teams to support timely receiving, invoicing and reconciliation.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and lead time across supplier base.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Commercial teams to align procurement with demand forecasts and promotional activities.
  • Ensure sufficient stock cover is maintained to avoid stockouts or production delays, across all sales channels.
  • Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) activities through data-sharing and supply visibility.
  • Support margin protection by monitoring landed cost changes and working with both Commercial and NPD teams to ensure procurement decisions align with pricing and profitability targets.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain or purchasing roles — ideally in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Essential: Experience working with Microsoft Business Central or equivalent ERP that leverages a manufacturing planning functionality (MRP / MPS processes).
  • Very strong attention to detail, follow-through and data accuracy.
  • Comfortable working across multiple functions and juggling priorities.
  • Process-driven and proactive in spotting issues before they become problems; a champion of continuous improvement.
  • Professional, positive and confident in managing suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel / Google Sheets experience.
