Our client is a well-established business based in Shrewsbury. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to primarily focus on the transactional/processing duties.

As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Credit Control
  • Providing other general accounts/admin support as required

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will need to be confident using accounting software and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.). You will need to be very organised with good attention to detail. You will also need to be a strong communicator and confident chasing outstanding debt by phone and email.
