We are seeking a Project Manager with Distribution & Industrial project experience to join a fast-paced, ambitious & growing UK Main Contractor. Our client is looking for a strong, highly motivated leader who has the ability to manage an industrial project & multiple projects in the future. Reporting into the Construction Director, you will take full responsibility for your site. You will have the know-how to add value at pre-tender stage & executive stage whilst on site. This candidate would be part of an already established team and have aspirations for career development towards directorship. The project locations are predominantly based North of the M25 stretching up to the Northampton Region. They like every employee to be home every night. They have a family culture with internal progression, development & promotion being key to their business values. The correct individual would have a passion for construction, with a can-do attitude, so all jobs get handed over on time.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of x2 projects delivered within the steel frame/ distribution sector (completion values between – £10-20 Million)
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- First Aid
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and successfully delivering industrial projects
- Site management while supervising and coordinating staff, sub-contractors, plant, materials and management information
- Reporting on financial and operational progress
