BRILLIANT opportunity for someone ambitious & studying toward ACCA or CIMA (or newly qualified) – you’ll join as finance manager (effectively number 1 in finance) for a portfolio business within an agile PE Group. This is a career fast track. You’ll be the primary finance contact for a £10m+ turnover business (with support from a modern group head of finance who looks after other investments within the structure). It’s a dynamic, ambitious, modern, relaxed culture filled with talented people.
You’ll have the chance to work with the MD, commercial director, and PE investors on a daily/weekly basis – incredible exposure from the get-go. Lots of autonomy, lots of scope to add value, and a real chance to supercharge your career (and earning potential). You’ll have support, guidance, and encouragement from a qualified Group FD. A genuinely rare role for someone part qualified.
You need to be commercially astute, bright, keen to develop, and have great analytical skills. You need to have:
- Commitment to complete CIMA / ACCA / ACA.
- Previous experience of management accounting and reporting.
- Clear commercial acumen and genuine drive / ambition.
- A proactive approach to developing reporting, adding value, and bringing insights and ideas to the table.
- Great analytical skills / Excel ability.
