We’re looking for a UX Designer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the fast-paced web development and digital marketing industry to deliver user-centred, innovative and results-driven solutions. You’ll create experiences for our diverse client projects while also helping shape our new SaaS product from the ground up. This provides a unique opportunity to apply your UX expertise across varied challenges and make a significant impact on our product vision. You will have a keen eye for detail and be passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, working alongside our developers & marketing specialists, and embracing challenges to achieve success for both our clients and our own product ambitions. Working as part of a team at a thriving digital agency, you’ll be utilising the latest UX methodologies and tools to provide real-world solutions that enhance user satisfaction and drive business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply design thinking methodology to solve complex user experience challenges
  • Create wireframes and user flows to effectively communicate concepts before moving to high-fidelity designs
  • Conduct user research, create user personas, journey maps and information architecture to inform design decisions
  • Design intuitive and accessible user interfaces using Figma, ensuring a seamless experience across various devices and platforms
  • Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and efficiency across client projects and our SaaS product
  • Create interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design solutions
  • Produce comprehensive design documentation to ensure accurate implementation by development teams
  • Collaborate across functions with content creators, marketing specialists, and developers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stay current with emerging UX trends and best practices, bringing fresh perspectives to our work
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles throughout the project lifecycle
  • Help shape and evolve our SaaS product strategy through user-focused design and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Professional UX design experience, preferably in an agency setting
  • Experience with design thinking methodologies and wire-framing techniques
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
  • Knowledge of current UX trends and ability to apply them appropriately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members and clients
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to learn, grow, and continually improve UX design skills and methodologies
