We are looking for you as Manager Environment, Health & Safety (m/f/d).
Your Function
- Responsible for the implementation of all legal and internal company regulations and measures on the topics of environment, health and safety, as well as constant monitoring of their compliance.
- Conducting and improving safety audits as part of the Manitowoc Safety Management System.
- Regulating the framework conditions for a safe working environment for the sites in Langenfeld (GER), Breda (NL) and Buckingham (UK).
- Act as contact person for local management and employees on the topics of safety at work, accident prevention, health and environmental protection.
- Report on the safety performance of each site as per Manitowoc global reporting scheme.
- Continuous development of the company's health and safety management system.
- Support the development of health and safety management procedures and processes based on Manitowoc Global; Health and Safety standard and goal matrixes.
Your Qualification
- Completed studies in engineering or industrial training with further training as a state-certified technician.
- Completed training as Safety Engineer.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field of safety management desirable incl. profound knowledge of relevant standards and laws.
- Experience and responsibility for a safety management system development and operation as well as experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis techniques.
- High level of planning and organizational skills, strong communication skills, independence and change management skills.
- Fluent English required, German language skills are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within UK and to Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.
