Luceiro Capital is an independent private capital investment firm specializing in investments in mid-market companies. Our team is currently seeking to incorporate final year students or recent graduates in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another relevant university degree for internships in its investment team.
The position includes the following responsibilities:
- Detailed analysis of companies using databases: Orbis, Sabi, S&P Capital IQ, Ardan
- Financial modeling and valuation of companies in different industries
- Preparation of teasers and investment reports
- Contact with entrepreneurs and visits to companies to evaluate investment opportunities
- Creation of investment ideas through sector and industry analysis
- Management of investment processes: Due Diligence, Legal and Tax of companies to invest
The talent we are looking for:
- Demonstrated interest in the business world and investing
- Capacity to perform fundamental analysis of companies. Interview process will include a company valuation and presentation.
- Teamwork and can-do attitude
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering
- Strong modeling skills in Excel
- Excellent ability to analyze information and to think "out of the box"
- Fluent English. Spanish and Portuguese beneficial
