Our client is a UK-based manufacturer offering a comprehensive range of ventilation, passive fire protection, and smoke control products. With a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, they deliver bespoke, high-quality solutions for OEMs while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.

The Head of Technical will lead the technical function with responsibility for the delivery of high-quality damper solutions, innovation, and technical excellence. Collaborating closely with senior management and stakeholders, the ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to steer the technical direction of the business.
This role will serve as the company’s technical subject matter expert, overseeing project execution, product development, and quality assurance while supporting broader business growth objectives.

Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects in line with quality standards, timelines, and budgets
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction
Foster strong relationships with clients through regular engagement and expectation management
Develop and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures, including audits and technical reviews
Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements
Maintain up-to-date internal IT reporting
Full UK driving licence with business travel insurance required

Proven technical leadership with experience managing complex technical projects and teams
Experience with notified body management and audit processes
Strong planning and multi-project management abilities with acute attention to detail
