Role Overview
The role duties include oversight of all workshop activities, general day-to-day company admin duties, assisting the operations department to ensure projects are safely executed in a timely manner both internally and externally. The ideal candidate must be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Key Activities & Tasks
- Raise all purchase orders for workshop activities, new build projects and consumables.
- Maintain timesheets for workshop activities and input hours for payroll.
- Maintain Calibration/Servicing of all workshop equipment.
- Book any training required for personnel and maintain competency records.
- Maintain workshop jobs/activities in Inspire software.
- Liaise with accounts team as required with month end queries and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Domestic travel co-ordination.
- Report and record Safety cards.
- Assist the operations team with any other admin support.
Training & Competence
- Attend any required training in order to be deemed competent.
- Complete company-set competency record.
Health & Safety
- Adhere to OSSO’s QHSE policies and procedures and contribute to OSSO observation card system.
- Assist with the upkeep of quality management systems.
Personal Specification
Qualifications/Education
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of admin experience, ideally in operations but not essential.
Skills
- Highly organised, excellent communication skills, competent with computer programmes (Excel and Word), ability to problem solve, confident working independently and as part of a team, ability to use own initiative.
