We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Structured Credit Trader at the Assistant Vice President (AVP) level to join our SSI team in London. The successful candidate will focus on the trading, pricing and risk management of secured financing transactions for the benefits of internal and external clients along with the development of innovative investment products, leveraging deep expertise in structured credit markets and financial engineering.
- Price, execute and manage secured financing transactions across structured credit markets, ensuring adherence to risk management guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enhance investment products, utilizing structured credit instruments to meet client needs and market demands.
- Analyze market trends and opportunities within structured credit to identify investment strategies and trading solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, structuring, risk management, and research, to ensure effective implementation of strategies.
- Utilize quantitative and financial modeling techniques to support structured credit trading activities and product development.
- Monitor portfolio performance, conduct risk assessments, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and market developments affecting structured credit and secured financing transactions.
University degree or similar with a focus either on Corporate Finance, Financial Markets or Economics.
Experience in structured credit trading or related roles, with expertise in secured financing transactions and structured credit products.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and the use of trading tools.
Deep understanding of structured credit markets and financial instruments.
