A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team. You will be working on domestic projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be based across Greater London/M25 region and will cover multiple areas with a large housing associations. What’s on offer? * Fire door installations and remedial works to social housing properties across London * Full time, permanent role with company benefits package * £40,000 – £42,000 * Vehicle, fuel card, phone provided * Productivity bonuses * Opportunity for personal career development and the chance to become an accredited fire door engineer Roles and responsibilities * Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors * Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification * Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately * Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work * Liaise with customers and members of the general public The successful candidate will have: * At least two years experience working with fire doors * A strong background in carpentry and joinery * NVQ or equivalent in carpentry * Experience installing fire doors and frames * Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames * Experience working on social housing FRA contracts * Full UK driving license * 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired) These vacancies are for a quick start after a short interview process.
