The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We currently have an opportunity for a Multiskilled Engineer on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will join our Botting Hall Engineering team in Middleton, where we produce classic British Brands including Sarsons, Haywards, and Branston, alongside authentic Japanese sushi seasonings and vinegar OSU. The role will have a strong focus on safety, asset reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • An experienced, time-served Multi-skilled Engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment and complying with procedural processes.
  • Experienced in carrying out planned preventative maintenance, identifying corrective maintenance needs, and executing these activities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise your own workload.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts, with 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement being part of our standard work tools.
  • Proficient with computer systems, including Computer Maintenance Management System, purchasing systems, SCADA measuring and monitoring systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Upholds the two Mizkan principles: offering customers only the finest quality products and continuously challenging the status quo.

Shifts:

  • A two-week rotation of:
  • Mornings - Mon – Thu: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm; Fri: 6:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Afternoons - Mon – Thu: 1:45 pm – 10:00 pm; Fri: 12:45 pm – 6:45 pm
