We are seeking a learning assistant for a fixed-term, minimum 20-hour part-time position to support individual ākonga access the curriculum. The school day at Medbury starts at 8:25 am and ends at 3:10 pm, with some flexibility in working hours.

You will bring experience working with ākonga who learn differently and a proactive, compassionate approach that aligns with our school values of Respect, Empathy, Excellence, and Integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing one-to-one support in the classroom.
• Assisting students with specific learning needs.
• Collaborating with teachers and the Focused Learning Team.
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
• Supporting students’ emotional and social development.
• Communicating with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
