Important: Due to the sensitive nature of these projects, you must be a SOLE UK National capable of achieving and maintaining UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). We are seeking Project Managers to join our expanding Bristol Defence Infrastructure team, supporting construction infrastructure projects across the South/South West and nationally. This role is suited for Project Managers from Defence, Rail, Water/Utilities, or Highways backgrounds with proven experience and understanding of processes. NEC accreditation is preferred. Typically, Project sizes range from £1m to £10m, depending on complexity, with larger projects possible in supporting roles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Project Management Commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
  • Support on major commissions, managing specific aspects of service delivery.
  • Ensure client objectives are met, projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Assist clients in transitioning to Net Zero and enhancing sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with NEC contracts.
  • Expertise in NEC/JCT/FIDIC contract administration.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
  • Self-motivated with strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders within NEC frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CDM/site health and safety related to NEC contracts.

Degree in infrastructure or construction-related field. Chartered or qualified with ICE, APM, RICS, or similar preferred.

We support hybrid working to balance work and personal life. Expect to spend around 60% of your time on client sites or in offices, with potential travel, depending on client and business needs. Office presence is vital for collaboration and project success.
