Your area of responsibility as an AV Technician:
- Working in some of the best venues and hotels in the UK, you will play an integral role in planning and preparing events, responsible for delivery and setup from small meetings to large-scale productions.
- Equipment Operation:
- Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping, and repairing equipment prior to events
- Drive results by ensuring flawless event execution through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues promptly
- Comply with all security and safety measures, adhere to health and safety regulations, and wear PPE
- Report health and safety issues to the onsite HSE or Project Manager
- Work as part of a team on larger projects when required
- Strive to exceed internal and external customer expectations
- Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication
- Meet with guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment functions properly
- Monitor events and check in on customers throughout
- Foster good relationships with hotels, venues, and clients
- Understand technical aspects and demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills
- Handle equipment challenges professionally and timely
- Follow company procedures and complete paperwork accurately
- Use equipment sheets for setup and strike, coordinate with staff and vendors
- Utilize up-selling techniques to increase revenue
- Assist clients with invoicing
What you bring:
- Experience in service and hospitality preferred
- Experience in AV or live events preferred
