Touro's Lander College of Men's is hiring adjunct faculty in the athletic department. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and delivers lectures to undergraduate students
  • Prepare course materials including: syllabi, exams, homework assignments, and handouts
  • Creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning
  • Preparing students for assessments and providing helpful performance feedback
  • Maintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students checking college emails regularly
  • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: Previous college level athletic teaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated ability and desire to teach, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, expert knowledge of field, ability to make decisions and solve problems

Salary: Maximum Salary USD $79.00/Hr. Minimum Salary USD $63.00/Hr.
