Are you an experienced vet looking to join a growing practice that will support your development paying up to £65,000 (FTE, DOE)? Since opening in 2016, Bedlington practice has developed a fantastic reputation for providing excellent care for its patients. Due to this reputation, our stand-alone practice in Bedlington is growing and they are looking for another vet to join them to help support the growth. Full-time and part-time hours can be considered. Your career development will be supported with a generous CPD allowance. You will work with the owner Robert; this allows decisions to be made quickly. The hours will be 2 days + and will involve 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am to 12pm). No OOHs or Sundays.
About Us: Bedlington Vets4Pets opened in March 2016 and has steadily become a well-loved staple in the heart of the local community. To provide the best level of patient care, the practice has been purpose-built with all the industry-leading standards in mind and has market-leading equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory facilities. Our small friendly team of 2.5 Veterinary Surgeons is led by the practice owner Robert, who is a very experienced veterinary surgeon currently undergoing his Surgical certificate, allowing more specialist operations to be conducted in practice including laparoscopic spays. The rest of the clinical support team is made up of 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs, 5 CCAs, and a Practice Manager. All the team work together to ensure that the best care is offered to their patients at every step of their journey.
The role: The role is ideally for an experienced veterinary surgeon who will feel confident with all routine surgeries and consultations and be happy with sole charge on Saturdays. This unique opportunity is perfect for you if you struggle to maintain a healthy work/life balance as Robert can be flexible with what we can offer. We are looking for a part-time or full-time candidate with a minimum of 2 days. There are no OOH requirements and no Sundays for this position.
