This is a great way to gain paid hands-on experience, before going on to complete your teacher training. As a Cover Supervisor you will: Manage classroom behaviour of up to 30 pupils, ensuring students stay on task. Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subject areas, including English, Maths, Science and Humanities Respond to any questions or queries students may have. Follow individual School behaviour and safeguarding policies. The ideal Cover Supervisor will: Have an Education-based or Core Subject-based Degree. Aspire to have a career in Education, in roles such as a Pastoral Manager or Teacher Be able to quickly engage and build rapport with pupils. Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
