About Us

We’re Scotsman Group, home to some of Glasgow’s most iconic venues, stylish bars, vibrant restaurants, and welcoming gastro pubs. Whether it’s a legendary club night, a candlelit dinner, or the perfect pint with pals, we create spaces where moments become memories. Yes, we’re part of Scotland’s leading hospitality group but every one of our venues has its own personality, its own vibe, and its own story to tell. And now, we’re looking for someone ready to step in and shape the next chapter.

The Role

Right now, we’re on the lookout for experienced, energetic, standout General Managers to join us. You’ll be the heartbeat of the venue, leading the team, setting the tone, and making sure every guest has a reason to come back (and tell their pals about it). From big nights out to chilled brunches, your job is to make sure it all runs like a dream, on the floor and behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning the day-to-day; operations, service, team vibe, all of it
  • Leading from the front; coaching, supporting, and building an unstoppable crew
  • Keeping it all compliant; safe, legal, and up to our high standards
  • Making the numbers work; margins, targets, stock, rotas, the lot
  • Getting creative; helping shape events, promos, and in-venue experiences
  • Delivering unforgettable service; because average just isn’t our thing

Who You Are

  • You’ve run a venue before - this isn’t your first rodeo
  • You know hospitality inside and out and still love the madness
  • You’re sharp on the numbers, big on people, and cool under pressure
  • You don’t just “manage” a team, you inspire one
  • You’ve got ideas, edge, and a little bit of flair
  • Late nights, weekends, full houses? You live for it

What You Get

  • 100% of your tips - no middleman here
  • Wagestream access - pay when you need it
  • 30% off food and cinema across all Scotsman venues
  • Hotel & apartment discounts around Scotland
  • Loads of perks via the Scotsman Perks benefits portal
  • Meals on shift - because hangry managers aren’t the vibe
  • Flexible working options - we get that life’s not always 9-5
  • Proper career progression with our Scotsman Steps training
  • Bonus schemes & refer-a-friend rewards
