About the Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Stock Controller to support the effective running of our Supply Chain function. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock to support Raw Materials, Production, and Transport Planning teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of stock accuracy (on-site and at 3PL).
  • Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies via root cause analysis.
  • Liaising daily with Production, Transport, and Manufacturing teams on stock checks and reconciliations.
  • Training FLT drivers on M3 warehouse transactions.
  • Managing food waste collections with Sugarich and waste disposal through Biffa.
  • Maintaining accurate IBC records and liaising with suppliers.
  • Processing monthly write-offs and coordinating timely distribution orders.
  • Highlighting and addressing slow-moving or over-run stock to manage space and reduce waste.

Essential criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar stock control or supply chain role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with M3 is a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced, changing environment.
