About the role

As a Specialist Operational Trainer, you will deliver and design specialist training (New Starter, MHE, Food Safety, H&S) within our Zoom sites (Leyton and Acton). You'll support the development of Zoom Managers through train-the-trainer programs and individual coaching. Ensuring training, processes, and documentation comply with legislation, Health and Safety regulations, and operational standards is key. You'll also monitor, evaluate, and support the effectiveness of training to drive business performance.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering effective inductions and ensuring all new starter paperwork is complete.
  • Conducting specialist training in line with HSE requirements and Ocado policy.
  • Reviewing and updating training processes and materials.
  • Delivering accredited Food Safety and H&S training.
  • Providing bespoke operational process training as needed.
  • Supporting customer complaints and satisfaction.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in training design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Operational knowledge of key processes and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Experience in 1:1 coaching and providing feedback.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Food Safety Level 4 in Manufacturing, Logistics, Catering.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • IOSH accreditation.
