Electrical Engineer Role Location: Hybrid/Bromsgrove (1-2 days on site) Salary: £40k Our client is looking for a talented Electronics Engineer to become part of their innovative R&D team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of advanced sensor technologies that are essential for monitoring water quality, safeguarding natural ecosystems, and delivering clean water to communities worldwide.. What You Will Do: • Design, develop, and test electronic circuits and systems for advanced water quality sensors. • Create and optimise PCB layouts, including component selection and schematic design. • Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and validation of hardware to ensure reliability and performance. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver highly integrated, high-performing devices. • Support the Senior Electronics Engineer in enhancing product functionality and manufacturability. • Stay ahead of industry trends to incorporate the latest technologies into product designs. What You Will Bring: • A degree in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field. • Experience in designing analogue and digital circuits, with a strong understanding of both. • Familiarity with PCB layout and schematic design software, preferably Altium Designer. • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, communication protocols, and embedded programming languages such as C/C++. • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
