Senior Management Accountant Portsmouth FTC 12 months (potential to extend by a further 2 months) Dynamite Recruitment is delighted to partner with a successful business based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire. With a finance team of around 80, this organisation relies on its finance function to play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisions across the wider business. This opportunity is to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential to extend by a further 2 months. Benefits of the Senior Management Accountant: Hybrid working pattern after 1 month (3 days in the office) Employee Assistance Programme including retail discounts Private healthcare options Onsite parking Role Responsibilities: Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls Assist with cashflow forecasting, treasury, and loan management Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with policies Manage financial data accuracy and system updates Provide financial insights to key stakeholders Produce ad-hoc analysis and reports for leadership Uphold financial governance and best practice standards Experience Required: ACCA/CIMA qualified with extensive finance and management accounting experience Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with leasing exposure Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); SAP experience is advantageous Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach Skilled in interpreting financial data and providing actionable insights Strong communicator, able to present complex financial information clearly Highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines Commercially aware with solid business acumen Please click apply if interested.
