Having more than doubled in size over the past 10 years, this is a food ingredients supplier that’s doing a lot of things right. Offering lots of flexibility for its customers, along with some really innovative, bespoke solutions, the company has a flat structure whereby decisions are made quickly and samples are being sent before its rivals have even seen that an enquiry’s come in.

We’re looking for a Development Technologist to focus mainly on dairy and sauce applications, but there’ll also be opportunities to work across other categories, in what is a really varied position. You’ll be more customer-facing than at most ingredients suppliers – building relationships will be a key part of the position, so if you enjoy customer interaction (both in the UK and overseas) then you’ll have plenty of exposure here.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • 3-7 years’ experience as a Development Technologist
  • Good knowledge of functional ingredients
  • Practical, hands-on experience in either dairy or sauce applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Given the location of the site (it’s not well serviced by public transport), you’ll need a driving license and your own vehicle.
