Role Description
With a focus on owning and driving continuous improvement of our Specialist Nutrition (SN) products, the Senior Product Executive will have the rare opportunity to work with truly world-leading products in our award-winning SN ranges. Responsible for continually evolving and improving our proposition, creating new sources of competitive advantage, and further differentiating apetito from competitors. The Specialist Nutrition function is of strategic importance to the apetito and Wiltshire Farm Foods business. The high-profile nature of this division and the breadth of commercial experience it offers has been a springboard for alumni to develop their careers within apetito UK and internationally.
The apetito & Wiltshire Farm Foods Specialist Nutrition ranges include:
- Texture Modified Foods – a world-leading range for those living with dysphagia.
- Finger Foods – a world first, providing meal options for those with dementia, dexterity issues, or distractions at mealtimes.
- Mini Meals Extra – smaller, energy-dense, high-protein meals to combat malnutrition.
- Free From – meals free from the main 14 allergens.
You will need to be passionate about food, thrive in a customer-facing environment, have gravitas, and strong presentation skills. Experience in the food industry is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a world-class category strategy to keep apetito/WFF ahead of competition.
- Become the leading provider for specialist nutrition products in the home.
- Dominate the SN space in key B2B markets.
- Identify and unlock new opportunities in specialist nutrition.
- Research new markets, concepts, and product opportunities, managing NPD projects from brief to launch.
- Manage pricing and product mix to achieve target margins, supporting overall SN pricing strategy with market intelligence.
- Drive continuous improvement through range reviews, promotions, and merchandising.
- Build strong relationships across product development, purchasing, planning, production, and distribution teams.
- Manage stock levels to optimize availability and reduce risk.
- Provide actionable customer insights to inform category development and support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Support the launch of new products and ranges, and assist in customer-facing presentations.
- Contribute to various projects, including the development of award-winning ranges and innovative concepts.
