We are hiring a Full Time Care Team Leader to join our team at Guardian Angel Carers in Eastleigh & Hedge End. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care services, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need while fostering a positive environment for our carers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of carers, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Conduct regular reviews of client well-being and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Provide coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Foster effective communication within the team, office and with clients' families.
- Contribute actively and deliver care visits as required by the business.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Drive improvements in service delivery through feedback and best practices.
- On Call Duty - Typically 1 weekend per month + 1 day a week depending on shift pattern with the On Call team. Responsibilities include scheduling and cover of sickness.
Requirements:
- Able to work every other weekend.
- Proven leadership experience in a care setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of senior care practices and regulations.
- Ability to create and manage effective care plans for clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in supervising teams and providing mentorship is preferred.
- Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communication are essential.
- Minimum of Level 3 Adult & Social Care is welcome or willing to join an NVQ3.
What we offer:
- Weekdays - £14 per hour or salaried option available.
- Weekends - £15 per hour.
- Mileage pay of 45p per mile.
- Travel time paid at £12.50 per hour.
