About The Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cabin Fitter to join our team. It’s our vision to own the future of rentals and our mission to deliver a world-class experience. As a Cabin Fitter, you’ll help us deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold our values, setting an industry standard. In this role, you’ll be part of our Accommodation specialist team, which rents out temporary building systems including anti-vandal ‘green specification’ accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers, and other solutions for construction sites and events. Your daily tasks will include maintaining, repairing, and preparing portable accommodation units for hire. Working under an experienced foreman, you’ll ensure units meet high standards for a diverse client base. The role may be depot-based or involve a mix of depot and site work. You should be a team player, take pride in your work environment, and maintain high standards while following company procedures. To succeed as a Cabin Fitter, you should have: Basic joinery and plumbing skills for preparing units Ability to work well within a team Flexibility and self-motivation, with willingness to stay away from home if needed Customer-focused attitude and attention to detail Capability to complete work to high standards within deadlines A valid driving license and access to a vehicle due to depot location Additional beneficial skills include: CSCS card for site work Painting and decorating experience Property maintenance experience About Us Sunbelt Rentals leads in equipment rentals across the UK, Ireland, US, and Canada, with specialized operations in Europe.
