Head of Energy and Environment

Remote role – Preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential

An innovative Energy organisation in the United Kingdom are seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to come on board to champion overseeing all aspects of the organisation’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilites

• Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives
• Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions
• Manage energy infrastructure projects
• Expand and develop the energy team

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Senior, Lead, Principal or Head of positions
• Strong background in Energy, Sustainability, Transport, Supply or a similar field
• Vast experience developing company wide strategies and approaches to projects
• Experience working with local authorities and organisations responsible for transport, energy and infrastructure
• Experience leading a team and mentioring colleagues
• UK Citizen without the need for sponsorship or Visas
• Fluent English both verbal and written
