Role Overview As a Salesforce Release Manager , you’ll manage the end-to-end release cycle of Salesforce applications supporting mission-critical functions. You’ll be key in release planning, deployment, and support, collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders across the organisation. In this hands-on role, you’ll: Plan and coordinate complex releases across multiple teams and sprints. Manage and execute Salesforce deployments with minimal disruption. Implement governance and change control processes to safeguard environment integrity. Oversee regression testing, post-deployment validation, and support. Maintain release documentation using Azure DevOps and Confluence . Work closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes. Experience and Background We seek a candidate who thrives on delivery, is hands-on with tooling and configuration, and has the technical depth to collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers. You’ll bring: Proven experience managing Salesforce releases using tools like Azure DevOps (highly desirable), Salesforce DX, Gearset, CLI, or ANT Migration Tool. Practical familiarity with Azure DevOps , including Pipelines, Repos, Test Plans, and SonarQube for code quality. Experience working with VS Code and relevant extensions (Salesforce CLI, code analysis extensions). A background in software development is highly desirable — understanding developer workflows will help you excel. Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation in Salesforce deployment pipelines. Knowledge of multiple Salesforce Clouds and their release nuances.
