We're looking for a Product Development Engineer to take ownership of mechanical product design — from concept to commissioning — for a leading UK manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new mechanical products using SolidWorks.
  • Create detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Improve existing products for performance, compliance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Manage projects from order to delivery in close collaboration with manufacturing and sales teams.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience as a Design or Product Development Engineer in manufacturing.
  • Strong SolidWorks skills, especially with sheet metal and weldments.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication; machinery experience is a plus.
